Topaz

Topaz can come in a wide range of colours, but the most valuable are the pink and sherry-yellow. Its name is thought to come from the Sanskrit word 'tapaz' meaning 'fire'. Colourless Topaz has a high refractive index, so much so that it is often mistaken for diamond. Topaz is a useful healing stone as it directs energy to where it is needed most, it heals, soothes, recharges, stimulates and remotivates. It has a joyful and vibrant energy and is excellent for cleansing auras.
