Jasper

Jasper is a form of quartz, found worldwide, formed mainly from volcanic rocks that have formed with sediments as a result of the petrification of organic matter. Or formed where silica rich If formed with hematite, it gives jasper a brick-red to brown colour. Clay gives jasper a grey or yellow/white colour. When formed with Goethite is has a brown or yellow hue. Jasper's name stems from the Greek word 'iaspis'. Jasper is a good stress relief, and a bringer of tranquility and peace. It will align the chakras, and balance the yin yang. It is good for absorption of negative energy and as a tool for dream recall.
