Snow Geodes

This beautiful pair of snow geodes comes from the Sahara Desert and are filled with a delicate quartz formation that sparkles in the light.  The way in which snow geodes form is amazing as they form by water that is heated by the earth finding its way into cracks where it cannot go any where. This explains why each geode is so different in shape and form. Therefore the combination of heat and the mineral content of the earth forms these beautiful geodes that are then grown without ever seeing the light till they are mined.
