Rutilated Quartz

This beautiful cabochon is made from quartz and rutile.

Quartz is the most common mineral on earth while rutile,a titanium dioxide mineral, often forms needle - like crystal inclusions inside quartz.  This rare form of rutile and quartz together is known as rutilated quartz with the rutile showing as golden hair like strands.

It is said to be a stone that can get energy moving on all levels.  It can also be very good for emotional and mental issues.

Moreover, it is said to help knit damaged tissues together and to relax tense muscles.
