Crinoid

Saccoma pectinata Jurassic Solnhofen Germany.  A very well preserved free swimming crinoid, usually these specimens are painted to enhance the visibility of the arms, and in some cases thay are not even fossils.  This specimen is best seen in side lighting as it is exceptionally naturely detailed.
