Black tourmaline in quartz

Tourmaline and quartz often crystallize together to form tourmaline quartz.  This is quartz with thin needle like strands of tourmaline running through it. 

Combined these two stones are a lively combination bringing with them the grounding powers to tourmaline and the enlivening energy of quartz.
