Bison are nomadic grazers and travel in herds, except for the non-dominant bulls, which travel alone or in small groups during most of the year.
This particular bone is from a European Bison. This species lived in the North Sea at a time when it was wide grassy plains which became sea following the Ice Age.
This bone is genuine and has no restoration.
