Apatite comes in many different colours and forms and can resemble other crystals.  Its name comes from the Greek word apate and means 'deceiver'.

Apatite is believed to enhance creativity and help with the intellect and deepening of understanding.

It can also help with communication and aid deeper levels of meditiation.
