This lovely piece has a stunning purple inside and is surrounded by agate.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz that has been coloured by iron which gives it its purple colour.

It is believed to moderate unruly behaviour and encourage clarity of mind.  A good all round healing stone amethyst is believed to encourage stability, aid sleep and help the imagination.
